How it Works

At Be A Kind, we're all about using social media for a purpose. We want to hear about the amazing acts of kindness you're doing! Simply tag us in your posts, and we'll repost your stories to inspire others. By sharing your acts of kindness, we can create a chain reaction of positivity, flipping the negative narrative often seen on social media. Let's spread good vibes and warm hugs throughout the community, making the world a better place one kind act at a time! These instructions will help you, your friends, and your followers understand how to contribute to the community.

  • 1. Login: Open Facebook and log into your account.

    2. Create a Post:

    Click on the "Create Post" section on your news feed or profile page.

    Write about your act of kindness or share a story that inspired you.

    Add relevant hashtags like #BeAKind, #BeAKindNeighbor, #BeAKindFriend, etc.

    3. Add Media: Click on the "Photo/Video" button to add images or videos related to your act of kindness.

    4. Tag Be A Kind: Tag Be A Kind’s official Facebook page by typing @beakind in your post.

    5. Share the Post: Click "Post" to share your content.

    To share directly on BeaKind.org, visit the Bea Kind Facebook page, find the post related to sharing kindness stories, and comment your story or use the provided link to upload content directly to BeaKind.org.

  • 1. Login: Open Instagram and log into your account.

    2. Create a Post:

    Tap the "+" icon at the bottom of the screen to create a new post.

    Select the photos or videos you want to share.

    Tap "Next" and apply any filters or edits you like.

    3. Write a Caption:

    Write a caption describing your act of kindness.

    Use hashtags such as #BeAKind, #BeAKindNeighbor, #BeAKindFriend, etc.

    Tag Be A Kind’s Instagram account (@bea_kind_keenan) in your caption.

    4. Share the Post:

    Tap "Share" to post it on your profile.

    Additionally, tag @bea_kind_keenan in the post so it appears in their tagged photos.

    5. Instagram Stories: To share via Stories, swipe right from your home screen, capture or upload your photo/video, add relevant hashtags, tag @bea_kind_keenan, and share to your Story.

  • 1. Navigate to the "Share Your Story" section of the website.

    Fill out the form with your name, email, and story details.

    2. Review your submission and click "Submit" to share your story on beakind.org.
